Beauty pageants are nothing more than a scam.

The following speech is Against the motion proposed-

करीब 30 वर्ष सन् 1994  मे जब Sushmita sen and Aishwarya Rai ne Beauty Pageant ka सर्वोत्तम खिताब हासिल किया था, कहते हैं तभी नौजवानों में यह जोश आने लगा था कि संसार पटल में हम इस क्षेत्र में भी काम कर सकते हैं। तब भी 3 जानकारों का कहना था कि यह सब एक scam है और इसके जरिये Foreign cosmetic Industries भारत जैसी populous country में प्रवेश लेना चाहती है और इसके market पर कब्जा करना चाहती है। किन्तु Lakme, Himalaya, Lotus Herbal, Sehnaz Hussain, Mama Earth ted अनेक cosmetic Industries जिसका world tride में नाम है वह ध्रुव तारे की तरह भारत में चमक रही है।

अरें हमें भी कहा था कि NEET clear करलो Dr तो बस यूं यूं (चुटकी) का काम हैं। यहाँ आ कर पता चला कि परिश्रम तो इसमें भी चाहियें अतः धथी के दांत खाने के और दिखाने के और होते हैं।. हर चीज के दो पहलू होते है, नकारात्मक व सकारात्मक .

मेरे विपक्ष में बैठें दोस्तो आप का यह बार बार कहना कि Beauty Pageants are nothing more than scam बिल्कुल व्यर्थ हैI यह तो नक्कार खाने में तूती बजाने वाली बात है। मित्रों कुछ scam ही होता तो करीब 100 साल से चले आने वाला competion और उसमे भी करीब 125 countris participate करती हैं तो इसे बन्द नहीं किया जाता ।.

"Beauty Pageant continue to peddle their stereotypical notion of how to judge a woman beauty predominately based on her physical attributes simultaneously trying not to demean the role of her inner beauty in her persona & beauty of her brains and intellect. And my question to one and all present here is "why not ? "

अगर यह scam है तो शिक्षित व भ्रांत परिवारों से व स्वयं शिक्षित इस lucrature Industries में नही आती अपितु सच्चाई तो यह कि Beauty P. और अनेक opportunities अधिक बड़े level पर खोलता हैं । इसे हासिल करने के पश्चात् हम मात्र जिस देश से है उसकी उन्नति का तो सोंचते ही है मगर हमारी भावना वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम की होती है। संसार में होने वाली अनेक problem में से हम एक problem को चुन कर उस पर कार्य करते हैं ,

Yes, there are certain scams also but it is us or rather we had to decide do beauty pageant have a place in our society for empowerment or should we bed them & their negative altributes farewell. I would end up

What Starnaz Sandhu once quoted "We are here to cell celebrate ourselves." she said. It is not about being the perfect beauty lagent god. Its about being yourself on the stage and I think it lakes huge courage to do something like that.
